Born in England, Clare traveled through the Mediterranean region, Europe and much of the United States before calling Colorado home. From Fitness Specialist at a leading Arizona Country Club and Spa, to Director of Fitness & Therapy for a successful Health and Wellness Center, she brings extensive knowledge and experience in health and fitness. She has written articles for Colorado Avid Golfer, Douglas County Living Magazine, Colorado Community Newspapers and, with her experience as a Fitness Model has been in numerous TV and Print articles across the country and internationally. Local events include being featured on the Channel 9 Morning News Show for the 9 News Health Fair and also being the feature model for Healthstyles Exercise Equipment.
Clare Day is in an elite group of only 1% of certified fitness professionals with all ACE (American Council on Exercise) Certifications, attaining excellent education in behavioural science, exercise science and nutritional science. She has trained clients of many different abilities and backgrounds. Relying on her 30+ years of personal training experience she creates fitness programs specific to your individual needs, providing quality exercise and training programs to her clients. She is an expert in developing training programs to rehabilitate people suffering injuries and medical conditions. What is a Medical Exercise Specialist? The ACE Medical Exercise Specialist is an integral member of the healthcare team, serving as a MEDICAL EXERCISE SPECIALIST means working in collaboration with other healthcare providers. They help clients prevent and manage disease, avoid injuries, improve overall wellness and function throughout all phases of medical interventions, returning to desired activities following rehabilitation. The ACE Medical Exercise Specialist also applies the principles of exercise science, health coaching, nutrition, psychology, corrective exercise, therapeutic exercise and pathophysiology to develop individualized programs for special populations clients with clinical issues (e.g, cardiovascular, pulmonary, metabolic, musculoskeletal) in order to facilitate lasting behaviour change and improve client health, function and well-being.
